I don't have that model, but I do have a '95 that's simply one tough, good shooting hunka metal and wood. My barrel is a little rough, and I don't recall ever doing anything with the jacket fouling. I've put cast through it, but it's nothing special there. 160 gr jacketed all land in the same general zip code, and with my eyes and open sights, that's okay. It's rainy day/tractor gun for me. I find the small ring Mausers to be very acceptable platforms for my shooting. I'm not trying to get a 7x57 that will push a 140 at 5k fps, so old metal and times effects aren't a big deal to me.
