Don't know how Walt felt about hunting, but I know he wasn't anti-gun. Walt's right arm and co-creator of Mickey Mouse and several other animated characters was Ub Iwerks. Ub was an avid gun collector and was at my folks house a few times, as my father did some of his gunsmithing.
