with this firearm ? Back in 1962 I had an original RB converted to 357 Mag and had lots of fun with it. I had to let it go a few years later due to money needs. Now I'd like to have one again, if they are worth the money.

I remember the name and vaguely the rifles.
it's been a long time since I seen a R/B in person.

personally I would explore some newer versions or some lower cost options.
but that's just me being me.

I hear you fiver, but that old remembrance draws me. Frankly, I have a fine 308 for rifle CB shooting, and 30/30, 30/06, 30 Carbine as well. Since I really only shoot for pleasure, I don' hunt, putting the small powder charges in the bigger cases to get 16-1800 fps, seems I would get just as good performance out of the smaller 357 Mag case. Just kind of thinking...but that RB is a $900 gun.

oh I'd grab one in a second if I had the cash and seen one.
a nice low wall would be on the get it if you got the cash list too.
if I were gonna order or build something I'd like to get a nice 20-24" octagon barrel in 357.
for some reason I have a bajillion boolits and a bit of brass but not so many 357's
