Upcoming Maintenance

Just a heads up for everyone that I need to do a little maintenance on the site in the next few days. Exactly when it will happen depends on how my schedule works out over the coming week.

What it means to you is that the site will be unavailable for a period of time while the maintenance is in progress. Typically less than an hour.

Do what you must. Rotate the tires and change the oil while you are in there.

I just keep the wheels on the bus. You folks make the place happen with all your great content!

(Confession time -- I go shooting maybe once a year, and the last time I reloaded any ammo was probably 37 years ago...and those were shotgun shells...)

Nothing too exciting -- just me watching a web browser spin for about 10 minutes while the update applied. :)

I like when you folks don't notice when the maintenance window happened. It means it went quickly and smoothly.

The birds are singing, the grass is growing....and it's time for another round of site maintenance. Sometime in the next few days, it'll go offline for a bit while I apply the latest updates. As always, nothing to give me any indication of how long it's going to take.
