One of my newest and favorites. Love people who NEED modern new cool tactical everything. Id trade and AR for old warhorses like this every day. Nothing like old iron. They stories they could tell and just the feel of something with so much history. W.M. Mason was a textile machinery and railroad steam locomotive builder who built 30,000 rifle for the Union during the war.

Nice. Better condition than a lot of them. A friend had an original Rem 1862 when I was a teen and we
shot it a lot. He had a mold for the "light weight varmint bullet" Minie SWC, around 325 grains. Shot
about 3-4" at 50 yds standing. I could see no reason to miss a standing man at 100 yds. Deadly weapon.
