Jet stream is down below 45 degrees North, so high today was 72, cloudy and very humid at 45%. But next week it is to move north of us and temperature up into the high 90's and a break from the humidity down to a more reasonable 15%.

Yesterday, the lake where we camp and fish was 104.
The rattlesnakes, there, like hot weather. I like neither hot weather nor rattlesnakes.

The key is soaking in salt water, then overnight in the fridge in milk. Garlic and rosemary are both good snake spices.

a little flour dust then a butter and garlic fry works if you cool the meat down quickly.

yeah... it's here.
it is supposed to be raining, but the sparse water is just making little mud dots.
the temp has dropped off though, I'm really afraid we are gonna be looking at snow in the morning.
if not tomorrow then Monday.

it does this every year about the first or second weekend of June, and sometimes it comes back again at the end of the month.

102° today . Ms truck runs about half of the A/C up the windshield . Ran 7 of the 9 miles to work today with the wipers on under clear blue skies because it was collecting on the outside , a lot . Didn't get a heat index notice but I'd bet it was north of 115° .

I was land surveying, as a field party chief, in 1980 when we had a heat wave.
It would be 112 to 115 every day.
We would come to work at 5:30 and by 1:00 we would have to stop, because it was too hot in the sun.
And I was in my 20 then.
