Last several times I brought up gun, casting or reloading purchases, Mrs. smokeywolf said, "If you want it, then you must need it". Oh, and she handles the money.
Yup! She's a keeper.

Sept. 10, 2021 Steve left us. You are missed.
They say it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission. Is for me anyway.

Turn up the radio? Really? I couldn't hear mine once the door was shut. In fact I haven't had to listen to her since, life is good. :D

Mine is pretty supportive, she was raised right. She is driving to Tulsa for a gunshow and to meet a few guys from a forum. What more could I ask for?

Mine is a junker/ crafter. She easily does over 200 yard sales a summer, looking for old furniture, utensils, wood ladders, lanterns, minnow buckets etc. She makes craft items out of it and resells it. She knows what solder, wheel weights and plumbers lead are now. She calls me from all over, wanting to know if I need traps and how much they are worth. I know it's a serious estate sale when she wants me to take the seats out of her minivan! When she has been out junking all day, and comes home and makes me a big steak for dinner, I know I have to go somewhere, to pick up a large piece with my truck. She thinks old rusty bullet molds are cute. LOL

I just tell my wife it's not mine,it's one of the boys? Then it's not only good but......"well I hope you got more than one".

Which works great on guns and reloading stuff....little difficult on some early 1900's pce of shop "arn".Which almost always is a wreck when we get it.....then after we do our magic...sparkling engine turned bright work, and paint clean/fresh enough to kiss.

Oh well, gonna be one heck of an auction....but the smiles they bring in use makes them worth it.Just like a new bolt rifle.BW

Oh,and the door casing/base is a little goofy in the cartoon .I think they should be more concerned with that, personally. But to each their own?

I got a gun for my second wife, easily the best trade I've ever made. Biggest problem was that it wasn't even a week and the guy was screaming to get his gun back.

My wife has always been supportive of my gun buying. Matter of fact she
has always been supportive of just about everything I do. (just about-
maybe 95%). Hard to ask for more.

Smokeywolf, you and I have the same arrangements with the wife. She handles the money, but no
complaints when I buy a new gun. Lucky to have her.

Guns don't come out of the normal budget. Accessories/supplies do, but a hobby expense... Wife lets me have my hobby. And all the guns eventually go to the 5 boys! Plus she is damn happy I have a serious hobby and don't chase her around ALL the time! All good!

Mine's grinnin' a little more lately, now that the pension & SS checks will start hitting the bank every month.
