He had made me some .221 Fireball brass as well as some .257 Roberts. Very nice fella.some years back, I stumbled onto a set of 41AE dies. I like rare dies, when flipped, they always make me money. But the 41AE is so rare, no body is looking to buy them, LOL. After a few years of trying to sell them, with no luck, I ended up trading with "Grumpa" (on the other website) for a couple hundred 556 brass that he reformed into 222rem. He had some plan to use the Size die in some "forming" project, that he wouldn't tell me about...He likely took that to his grave...RIP Grumpa.
Damn autocorrect...Not going to blame that on a dyslexic moment. I'll blame the phone instead!
A friend of mine had a custom 1911 built for 41 AE, he ended up giving up on it and replaced the barrel with one for 45 ACP. After five or six years he ran across his stash of ammo & components and sold them on GunBroker. Long story short, he ended up getting more for his ammo & components than he sold the gun for.
Welcome to my world.Sometimes when I joke around. I think something might just get lost in the interpretation.
Course I have been known to seriously ask some pretty stupid questions.
