best of luck Dale.
i moved a bit of stuff around today, not enough,, but it's not in my way anymore.
found a couple of handfulls of brass in a place it didn't go so i sorted most of it and got it put away then tossed the last handfull in the 'stuff' box for future sorting.
i would have sorted it too but i couldn't read the head stamp without the glasses, that were somewhere else, and it surely wasn't 9mm or 45 stuff and i didn't want to dig through the sorted MEH! box to find the bag to put one case away at a time.

I'm glad my downsizing project has had a smooth run and is closing in on completion. I do wish, though, that Brad would post some stuff of his getting-rid-of-Paul's-stuff project that I could use. Hmmm . . . maybe a
.44 Special/.44 Magnum die set?
sent you a PM

Just took Tasha out for her last potty before bed. Looked like I interrupted a deer union meeting. At least 4 pair of eyes shining back at me like headlights. They were about 55 yards from our laundry/mud room door.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Winter is back! The news says we're all going to die tomorrow because the windchill is going to be -24F. Pretty sure we'll survive.

Back to the eye doc this AM. Hope this is the last visit!

Well we finally arrived in Yucaipa California. We left Medford Oregon last Thursday with a 3 day stay with friends in the mountains of the Tehachapi area. First time I’ve been there and really like it, very nice.

This is last Thursday morning getting ready to pull up of a RV park in Medford. Our old 30’ class A and or tow car, with Karyn and Biscuit. Not quite old enough to be called vintage yet. First day of no rain and no snow in the local mountains.

This is or view at 7 this morning from or site in Yucaipa looking northeast. No snow, no rain. What a concept.
Brother Joe, his girlfriend and my other brother of a different Mother Alfonso and Barbara came over to visit, eat and catch up as we have not been together since the Chinese flu hit.

John,
Did you go I-5 over the Grapevine, or take 58 at Bakersfield?

I posted a PIF at the other forum for some old/worn reloading die bodies.
they may be good for some redneck machining projects.
If you are interested, I need you to claim them over there...sorry, just need to do it that way.
I'm not sure how long they'll sit unclaimed?

EDIT: well, they were claimed pretty quick.

58 then down 395.
We did the Grapevine about 5 years ago at 8 in the evening with our motorhome and tow and thought we were going to for sure die. Never again.
No coming to the San Bernardino - Yucaipa area off of 10 is easier and more direct coming down Cajon pass

Travelled 395 from 58 to Victorville, when I was station at George Air Force Base. All those stomach rising
whoopie-dos were fun, though maybe not in a motorhome. That was back in '69 to '71, so the road may not be the same now -- 58 used to be two-lanes with a stop sign at the four corners and no trinket stores.

Several stories about traveling Cajon Pass I could tell, too, but they involved a much younger and stupider man.

Yeah Michael you didn’t have a corner market on young and stupid. I certainly qualified for that trophy too.
No, lots of development since the 60’s and 70’s out that way. Of course that describes California when it grew from 15 million to the current 40 million.
Got to say the air is much better now then back then.

Got the normal B.D. texts from family, she said I get a ham sandwich for lunch and chicken wrap for dinner. Kinda up and down day, bro that passed in Aug had same B.D. as me, his about a month after Pearl attack. Made the mistake of going back looking at family photos.

The Forster non-micrometer .223 seating die arrived, has been disassembled, and is lounging in a mineral spirits bath. It's the little brother of .30-'06 micrometer version that was used to load the 03A3's jacketed stash.

Besides that sighted in the 22 rifle. My 22's seam to end up with hand me downs.
Rather have them on a gun then laying around.
So my Rossi RS22 dedicated squirrel gun, now is sporting a 3x9x40. That will probably never be used past 4x again.
Now just to get my AR sighted in with the Red Dot I just bought. My back up 45 flip sights we're untouched during insulation so It will still be functional if needed till I can get it to the Range.

Today, I ordered a second OBDII code reader to keep in my Rav4.

Months ago, the first day I owned this car, I checked the air filter and unknowingly disconnected a tube (crankcase breather maybe?) to the air box. All kinds of codes fired, lighting up many indicators including VSC and 4WD. The next day, after a panic attack, when I figured out what I did, then re-hooked up the tube and all the indicators lights went out.

Saturday, during a road trip on 230 miles of snowy roads, the check engine light comes on, also VSC and 4WD lights come on also. The 4WD was disabled, and it was noticeable during driving, so I only had front wheel drive. I got to where I needed to go, but I sure would have preferred to have 4WD.

After I got home, I hook up my "cheapo, end user" code reader. I read the Code, it's a O² sensor. I clear the code, indicator lights go out. I have 4WD again. I read several places online about these 3rd Gen Rav4's, that any sensors that are in the fuel air mix control system, are also controlling the drivetrain. So, most any annoying code will disable the 4WD. I decide I need to carry a code reader (eraser) in the glove box.

As to this O² sensor code. I have a question.
*** Can moisture make the computer think it's failed, but is fine once the exhaust system dries out?

History, I made many short trips in the last couple weeks. Between the Below Zero temps, we had icy freezing rain a couple times, even froze the door shut. I got the driver door open and did the carwash thaw. Obviously LOTS of moisture before this Saturday road trip. the morning was well below freezing temps. The check engine light comes on after 20 miles of driving, just enough time for all the frosty moisture to melt and maybe corrupt? the signal on a O² sensor, I'm guessing. After driving all those miles, I'm thinking things are now dried out well. I've made two short trips with it since, and check engine light has stayed out. I don't want to replace a O² sensor if I don't have to.
Any thoughts?
