California's Central Coast Amid The Insanity
Rendering to Caesar before the 15th.
Caesar doesn’t deserve it.
My wife and I are old enough and poor enough that our issue and their issue are paying for our use of the socialized benefits that, somehow, always increase. We render to neither Caesar nor Gavin.

Speaking of socialized benefits: This morning, I had two spots on my head freeze sprayed. Could be they are due to Agent Orange. The doc said the sun. Monsanto or ol' Sol . . . pick one.

Monsanto doesn't exist anymore so you can't blame them.

i must be kind of dumb.
went down to Pokie and bought the stuff to build the 'last' [AKA middle] garden box.
then ordered a pallet of pavers... s'posed to be here tomorrow,,,
or over to Littlegirls place i should say, I gave them her phone number for the notification and they linked her address to the delivery.

hopefully we can talk the dude into making the trip down the street or it's gonna be a long day loading, moving, unloading, barrowing, unloading, and stacking pavers all afternoon.

cost me like 70 bucks more for this one over last years cost.

Well Sue and I fished from 10am until 2:15 pm. We eventually worked out a pattern, purple and red streamer flies on a 3 way rig, cast and retrieved with a pumping motion, working a current seam on either side of a sand bar. We landed 14 walleyes, 8 shorts, 5 legals, and a 24" slot female full of spawn. One of my keepers was a 16" spawned out female that was tagged by the DNR, probably last year when they had a big tagging program. I reported to tag to the fisheries biologist that was running that operation.
Do you guys keep fish cheeks? I do and make chowder with them, fabulous. I should probably start using the carcasses to make fish stock.

Damn computer talk jinxed me...

My hard drive crashed!

Not really a upsetting situation. This is a Dell insperion and the bugger has been molasses since day one. I mean grass growing is almost faster slow... Its been whipped at least once and reloaded STILL its slow! Now its dead and good riddance! I dont think I can get into mommas... But maybe I xan find someone to "join" the two and make ONE good useable moderately quick unit?

I know SQUAT about puters. I know I like destroying them then the die! They bring much frustration to me.

Have a look see about upgrading it to a 1T solid state hard drive. With a I5 processor and least 16 gig memory. Some of the older Insperions have that ability.
The refurbished one I just bought Is an older one upgraded to that. So far it lightning fast.
Of course you could just get a referb tower off eBay or New Egg for around $100 bucks.

Fishing was poor yesterday. Very little snow in the mountains and then rain on top of it, all the way up into Canada. River was high, murky and only 39 degrees so about like June but with out the warmth.

Will wait till the afternoon to try again.

Computers.
I just bought an ACER for $600 instead of building another one. An Intel Core i7 12th generation processor, a 1 TB, m2 solid state drive and 16 GB of memory will speed you up without breaking the bank and should keep me sorta current for awhile.
High end gaming systems start at about $1,500 and go up from there where I live.
Wife wanted to do taxes herself, so I had to buy something instead of building one.
I was shocked at how much bloat ware it had on it. So many programs that give you a 30 day gree trial and then want to charge you a monthly fee.
And Microsoft wants to take over EVERYTHING!
Spent more time telling Microsoft No,No, No than loading up the other software I already own.
Then, when you do get the other software loaded and start it up, Microsoft delivers a pop up suggesting their program is soooo much better and don't you want to revert back to their program after all.
I'm may keep my old case and build another one.
The old one lasted 10 years, until I got hacked, so I guess I can't complain.

Ye got 9 offers on mine before I could finish set up. Keeping Outlook for a while, but it is going away eventually. Pop ups are annoying.
I loaded Avast Free Antivirus. I have used it for years. But may opt for the paid version. As it has email filtering and fire wall options I may decide I want. Got like 4 antivirus pop ups during their process from Microsoft.

My Mom made fish soup out of pickerel, pike and other bony fish! My Dad was crazy for it. I could never get into the flavor and watery consistency! He would come from work and eat 3 to 4 bowls with fresh baked bread! My meal that usually came from those fish was the fried roe! I miss that treat these days!
