The whole extended long range thing is very, very new to me. I'm a complete novice.
I've been shooting to 900-1000 for a few years. This is still very difficult for me to get any REAL consistency.
Lots of variables. Wind being number one.
This really shows flaws in your loading techniches as well.

What powder are you using in the 338?
I'd imagine wc860 or similar would be economical...kinda.
