So I had the RAR in 300 blk with me today for some testing of the NOE 311-230-FN
My bullets weighed out to right at 238gr. These were loaded up with 10.8gr of CFE BLK. They were sized to .311" and lubed with 2500+ TNQ brass and S&B SRP
This five shot group was shot at 100 yards.
I ran one dry patch through the bore prior to shooting the gun. Bore looked good. I only shot 15 rounds today. Four shots over my brothers Magnetospeed that didn't register a single shot....
Five over my Chrony from 10 feet to get some numbers. Numbers I was very happy with!
1046fps Avg
ES-16
SD-5.3
One fouling shot on paper then a five shot group. The bore was pretty full of unburnt powder afterword. MV was right were I wanted it and I can't complain about the accuracy. I was very uncomfortable shooting from prone out of the bed of my truck, the sun was in my eyes, and the reticle in this little Nikon scope is super thick. It was hard to keep a precise aiming point. None the less it was a good day.
