Cherish each moment you share. Memories last forever, but we don’t. I lost my wife of almost 52 years last month. We had a wonderful time together and I cherish those years together.

KHornet (Paul) lost his wife of 60 years just over a week ago. 60 years . . . I can't even imagine how tough that would be.

Cogratulations!
Well, you know we're all old fashion!
People just don't stay together like that, anymore.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. It’s especially hard with this covid virus thing. Funeral home isn’t allowing memorial services in their facilities and a lot of people are still hesitant about gathering together. We will have a very private scattering of my wife’s ashes later this summer. Each day is a little better or should I say easier.

And.... congratulations to all those still celebrating their anniversaries!

UG, you have my deepest sympathies.
Just last week KHornet buried his wife of almost 60 years. She was a wonderful woman and about as good as I could have ever hoped to have as a mother in law.
We had a pretty well attended visitation and a private burial with just immediate family.
Cherish the memories, that is all that matters.

For all of you with losses you have my sincerest condolences .
Know that I'm really bad at this and expressing what I want to say so I don't say much in these times , mostly because it all sounds lacking for what you are going through . It will be less trying with time but there will never be enough . Hold onto to the good stuff , no point in keeping the bad for ammo now . Call anyone when it's bad , and don't get upset with those that are always there and in your way their just trying to deal with it too and think you need them .
