It seems that various bottles of alox may have had different degrees of loss of volatile solvents during storage, and that some manufacturers add different amounts of solvents, or no solvents at all. Does this affect the 60/40 mix ratio, and if so, are there any easily identifiable attributes of the correct viscosity of the final mixture?... I don't think white label adds more mineral spirits thinning it down they let you do that and make more out of the jug.
