Coastal storm .....baloney! I think PA is shut down with 2 inch per hour Nasty

Only 14 inches? Slacker.

Stay safe Jim. Don't kill yourself shoveling all that winter.

The climate change nut jobs are already blaming man made climate change for this storm. How are they gonna explain a much worse storm than this one that happened in 1888?

Look at what happened to Mars. The Martians didn't heed their "environmentalitsts" warnings about all their CO2-belching factories and SUVs and sure enough, they destroyed their atmosphere.

I'm sorry.
but I'm laughing.

I'm seeing this on the TV like it's the storm of the century.
I didn't see no camera crews or emergency status all winter here.

The pictures are quite humorous but only because it's somebody else. :D While I type this it's been snowing here for the past 2 1/2 hours and not a single snow flake on the ground. Think I'll drive into town for a beer and burger at my favorite pub and think of the NE all the while.

I retired from the AF as the First Sergeant of a Weather Wing, with about 900 weather people (observers and forecasters) from Alaska to Puerto Rico.! I was fond of irritating the higher ranking of them by telling them that "The weather is as dependent on meteorologists, as the economy is upon economists!" Most of them are fairly thin skinned and lack a sense of humor!

Jim, Brad is right about shoveling and getting to that snow blower. I bought my snow blower when I was about 45, and lost an associate from a massive heart attack from shoveling snow. He was also 45!
About the same time, I knew of 2-3 others in the area who had heart attacks from shoveling, but survived. That was a reality check for me.

The only heart attack I'll ever get anymore from snow shoveling is if I reach for my wallet too fast to pay the kid I plan to hire.

At large, whereabouts unknown.
Such a beautiful sight! 26 inches of snow flurries.

I'm jealous, we're supposed to get to the 70s by this weekend.

We topped out at 28 inches. State record was set for most snow ever in less the 24 hours (Started at about 2 am this morning)
However it is still snowing and now 25-30 mph winds. It was a fun day & I won't be going anywhere tomorrow either ...250 ft driveway unplowed!
My son buried his Yanmar diesel tractor in the first 20 feet of plowing it! I haven't been able to walk down to see the mess yet.
At least my truck is parked in a plowed out parking lot!;) but I have to walk 300 hundred yards to get to it!
Tired of winter!

I've only seen snow about 5 times in my lifetime. We got it rough down here in the south. Kidding aside that is a mess and I feel for you all. Then again we do have some serious heat and humidity in the summer.
