smokeywolf, if you go to Arkansas, you may see a bit of snow now and then, but they don't really get much and
it won't stick around long, either.
Heck, even 4-5 hours north of there, we rarely get more than 8 inches. The most I have seen is 28" in WVA years ago,
that was a pain, as I had a 100 yd driveway and no snow shovel! This is common enough in Colorado where my
vacation cabin is, and we don't even try since we only are there occasionally. The car stays by the road, we snowshoe
down to the house (150 yds) with gear on toboggans in the winter. If I was there year round, I'd have my JD 425 with
blade, wheel wts and chains, which I need here for my 300 yd driveway and large parking pad. This season 4" is the
most we have gotten, at least so far. No heated cab on the JD 425, but it does move the snow nicely, although it is
mostly for mowing.
Ticks we have, no chiggers that I know of, although some folks were telling me about 'oak mites', never heard of them
or been afflicted, but apparently something come from oak trees and kinda like chiggers, I am told.
Freedom is worth it. Just got the parts to make an AR pistol with arm brace stock, ATF approved. Just because
I can.
Suppressors, MGs if you feel the need, any kind of "evil assault weapon" is just fine. Open carry, concealed
carry without a permit, no state interest in your firearms whatsoever. Freedom.
