Those look like about ideal deminsions, depending a lot on your gun's throat, or lack thereof, of course.

That last photo answered the few questions that occurred to me earlier in the thread--which concerned nose diameter. That would be well-nigh perfect for almost any 30 caliber throat and leade, I would think--even the short & abrupt 30/30 leverguns.

I loaded a few rounds of 30-30 with the bullet about 15 minutes ago for my Rem. 788 , 30-30 Win.
They were lightly crimped in the crimp ring.
They fed through the magazine and chambered smoothly.

At 104 I'd think you could just set the lead pot outside for 20 minutes and the ingots would melt!!!! No thank you very much.
