Martini 38-55

I just got off the phone with Ch-4D www.ch4d.com. I'm setting up a Schuetzen rifle on a Ruger No. 3 in the ever-popular cartridge of 32-30 Remington-Hepburn, and needed to form cases from 357 Maximum...I know, they'll be about .030" short, but that's ok. A sizing die in this caliber, from inventory, is costing me just under $70 plus shipping. I should have the die next week, and will be shooting it soon with one of several plain based .308" bullets I cast for in the 170 to 210 gr. range. The rifle is presently chambered for .30/32-20, and does well enough, but the slightly larger capacity case and tougher brass should help in the long run. I'll probably convert my breech seater to the new case, but I may try fixed ammo down the road.
