Cluttered and messy reloading bench

If you don't have loading blocks half full of dummy rounds, test rounds, duds, etc. you haven't been doing anything interesting lately....HA!

I don't have a current pic .
I do have my special space which seems to be a catch all for anything vaguely mine to land in .
I had a mound of jars , bags , and boxes of assorted cast and 20 or so boxes of new to me jacketed . With that up on a new 30×54 , 6 shelf shelf it freed up 5' of bench top .

I don't have many pics of the loading room, found this one of the front bench. The end of the bench on the left is an 8 foot hardwood top and there is another one just like it in the back of the shop/

The cabinet doors on the lower right is mold storage. They are stacked by caliber and 2-3 molds per container and two rows deep.

I do things, I just don't have a half full loading block of dummy rounds, test rounds or duds, I just throw them in a pile on the bench until the pile gets so big that they start to roll of the bench. Then I clean them up and do something with them.

Casting pot, mini lathe, and drill press right in the reloading room? Heck, if you had a 'fridge and a mattress you'd never have to leave! Really nice setup there, Cherokee.

Oh yes, that too! All that plus handfulls of recovered bullets I don't want to remelt "just yet". I finally got a shoebox for all the stuff I don't want to mess with like loaded cases with the primer seated upside down, cartridges the autoloaders mangled, on and on. One day if I have some serious downtime and can swing a bullet puller I might screw with it....or not.

I don't even have a reloading bench yet. Do have a solution for powder storage. Have an old freezer in the detached garage. Once I put bars on the windows I'll move the majority of powder out there.

Ian - adjacent room has a microwave, full bath, frig & freezer...and my easy chair. If I want to really eat and sleep (as opposed to snack & nap), I have to go upstairs.

Cherokee, that is a very neat and tidy space. I am impressed.

Having seen Rick’s casting area I can assure you it is as neat as Cherokee’s. How they manage to not have lead splatters and bits of sprue all over the bench I don’t know.

Round-to-it jug under the workbench. Maybe I'll get to that one next week? Naw. Or clean guns? Naw. Probably going through mounds of paper in the closet (her 'box' for receipts), toss stuff not needed for tax time.

Whatever makes ya happy Smokey. A big part of the reason I moved to this area is the low crime rate and the remote odds of such things happening. Will be no bars on my house, this is my home and I'll not live like it's my prison. First 6 months I lived here I didn't even lock the doors. Been here 8 years now and not a hint of any trouble anywhere in the area. But to each their own.

Smokey, when I was there I noticed ADSI signage..................did you reinstate that alarm company? Happens, that's the same one I use.

Brad, there is a tightly held secret to that. If you promise to keep the secret and not let anyone else in on it I'll share it with you.

So what is the secret? Ya clean up after your finished. o_O
