Ever wonder if....

Several of the usual suspects for mail order got True Blue and some other Ramshot powders in a few weeks ago.

As long as I can get TB, I don't see me buying any more 2400, HS-6 (very similar to TB but not as fine-grained and not as consistent at low pressure), Blue Dot, or Herco. For .357 Mag, 45 Super, .38 Super, 45 Win Mag, and 44 Mag I haven't found a better powder. It won't make quite the power that 2400 will in some of those applications, and of course won't even nip at the heels of 296, but after using it a bit it has proven to be very versatile, accurate, and quite agreeable to use. Low flash, too. If you use it like Unique, it's going to be dirty like Unique. It takes a lot of barrel to burn up all the mummies, same as 2400.

The question was asked what about 30/30 or 308...Well Ben doesn't have to test it, I did last year. 30/30 and Lee 150 FN crimped with CCI LR primer; only a muff sound, so I opened the action and out came the loaded round with the dented primer. The bullet was still in place and I had to pull it at home to see there was no powder.
