Popper. If you didn’t see the follow up video here it is. Same bullet and rifle but I got it up to 2600fps.

Watched a guy shooting BO at long range, said at longest range he thought the bullets were going straight down to the target and he couldn't get any hits. The hot air trail is pretty cool too. Good work.

Great video. The fascinating thing I liked the most was the tracer-like vapor trail. Can you see that “live” or is that only visible on the video?

tracer-like vapor trail -- caused by the difference in air density - either 'hot' or compressed air due to bullet fps. Real but probably not observable by shooter.

Yes. Could be seen by shooter and spotter.
