Hopefully a 44 mag that will shoot

It may or may not the first go round but, once fired formed & neck sized that could shrink it down. I'm cheap to. When I find something working well with the junky mixed cases I sometimes call it good nuff.;)

I like that rifle. Should be a fun one long term. Maybe I missed or forgot but, what optic are you running?

I plan to put a vortex 3-9x40 on it after load development but right now it has a 4-14x40 Nikon buckmaster.

Well the new starline brass didn't seem to help. Shot several groups with the 434640 and Lee 310 using 2400 and H110 powder. Here's the best so far I'm hoping it just needs some tweaking.

I know it's not great but looking better. I may have to try a different bullet. Had several different loads do like above and shoot 2 different groups the others were just farther apart.
I also am still using air cooled bullets cast from WW. Not sure if heat treating some would help or not.

I don't know how much headroom you have there with that bullet but the target screams "more powder". Just a little more, probably half to 3/4 grain. Do you have that much margin on pressure?

Yep I've found load data that says your good to 17gr when crimping in the bottom cannelure like I am.

Once fired formed then neck only sized could make a difference. Heat treating might. More powder might. Only thing for sure at this point, anything very large is in danger with the current loads.;)
