Sometimes. My last one took three weeks. Sometimes they come in a couple days. I take him at is website's word, and if it says 4 weeks, he's really booked up.

You done it now. You will never buy another mfg. mold. Tom's cast so easy and you can order exactly what you want. I am slowly replacing my Lyman and lee molds with Accurate's 4 bangers. Life is good.
I will give NOE a thumbs up if he has what you want.
Please post pictures after you get it back from hollowpoint. I have one of Eric's steel conversions, and it is great.

Heat it up a little bit and spray with brake cleaner a couple times. Don't know what he uses for oil but it is hard to get it all out.

Tom runs his moulds through an ultrasonic cleaner before shipping. If you spray brake cleaner on them you are actually adding contamination. Don't confuse his moulds wirh NOE's, there is no break-in required, just preheat and start casting.

Dont know about that I have yet to see a mold that. Een negatively effected by a good heat cycling...

Metal used is manipulated to manufacture and sees/shows improvement with proper use. Heat cycling accelerates that process.

Also Good Brake Cleaner has been tantamount in removing Any and all neg impurities or effects left on molds.

Very nice work, going to have try Tom for my next mold. Looking like it'll be a 25 caliber flat nose for the 25-20.
Just remembered Tom doesn't do molds that small. Well Arsenal then.

Brother Love what cartridge and rifle or rifles are you planning use this one in? Second question, it looks so nice as is why have Eric convert it?
Don't get me wrong here I like Eric's work.

Spray your "good" brake cleaner on a clean window pane and tell me again how good it is at removing impurities. It is pretty good at removing grease and oil but will leave a film of its own.

Quite true, only thing I know of that doesn't leave a residue is denatured alcohol. Clean all my molds with it, no dish soap, no water, no wonder concoction, no nothing except a clean nylon brush and denatured alcohol.

. But Ian my windows uaually dont see 400+ degrees. ;) Any film burns off nearly immediately unlike oils that could take dozens of pour cycles to "cook" away.

:headscratch: Ask yourself this . . . Does it burn off immediately? Better question . . . Does it burn off at all? Does it accumulate each time you clean the mold? CW, it's not oil in the residue.
