No experience with that TL variant, but its conventionally-grooved counterpart has done VERY WELL in my 625, the Gold Cup, and my SIG P-220. It even fed in the Glock 21, but the cycling had a discernable hitch in its git-along as it rode up the ramp.

An i was just thinking. Self you need a mold for your new 45acp. And guess what appears.
Only this is for a Ruger American full size.

Ben;
I have a 625-8 JM Special, myself. It shoots nearly everything I put through it with great accuracy. MY favorite bullet in it is a Mihec copy of the H&G #69 (flat base #68), a 200 gr. SWC. For target and edible small game, 4.0 grs. of Bullseye or equivalent with do under 1" at 25 yards all day long, from a rest. It is VERY pleasant to shoot and one of my all time favorite revolvers!

I am sure that Lee Bullet would work extremely well for me, too!

FWIW,

I JUST COULD NOT ABIDE the pink/white/blue grip set that came on the new 625 as OEM stocks. Those things might be OK for some girls, but even Marie said "Aw, no way!" They are stored in a box in the garage under a lot of stuff, in a box with my left-handed ratchet wrenches and armadillo mouthwash.

I do not do well with the JM grips, myself. I immediately switched to my favorite Pachmayrs and ALL IS GOOD!

I went with the Hogue neoprene set for my 625. I would have been just as happy with that Pachmayr set, but one was available while the other was not while the gun was awaiting parole. The Hogue neoprenes and the Pachmayrs see a lot of service on my sideirons.

When I was 5 or 6 a band of us kids would wander our neighborhood trying to not be bored. One of the places we use to stop and annoy people was a house construction being done by a father and son team. After we had worn out our welcome for the day the elder member of the construction team tried sending us off with an errand. He told us to go ask our dads if they could borrow a left handed monkey wrench. Being left handed I told him to just use a right handed one upside down. I'm pretty sure that's when I became his least favorite.

Only the most discerning of onlookers are aware that left-handed ratchet wrenches are all completely convertible to right-handed usage by the user. I know this is a reckless disclosure of a closely-held trade secret, but I'm all about bringing light into darkness.

The armadillo mouthwash questions posed here are same ones I've pondered since I was gifted with the liquid some years ago. It was part of an estate sale involving reloading dies and components, and is contained in a used and de-labeled pint bottle that once held Hoppe's #9 solvent. I think. In the old label's place is a wrapping one layer deep of duct tape, with the words hand-written in felt-tip marker (and showing signs of its aged status) "ARMADILLO MOUTHWASH". Back when my nose still worked for smelling things, its odor reminded me of petrochemicals used to clean autoparts, like cleaning solvent due for change-out. It did remove copper fouling in a bore quite adeptly, along with the rifling. That barrel wanted to be a 257 Roberts all along, anyway. It felt restrained and under-utilized in its original 6mm Remington form. All's well that ends well, eh?
