Why a make / break thermostat why not a resistance reostatic rotory switch ? I haven't taken an electric stove apart but it doesn't seem like they have the make or break switches and a hot plate doesn't ..... Maybe the oven does ......... Don't know , again I haven't taken one apart . Seems to me that a regulated fixed but adjustable input would be more stable than an on/off input where it's all or nothing .
Electricity isn't my long suit , I have just enough knowledge to get in way over my head and burn things up .
