Y'all want to know why BLL by itself has proven so consistent for those that have perfected loads with it? Consistency of bore condition and very little lube mass in the grooves. Plus, the stuff goes full-liquid almost immediately, so even if it accumulates in deep lube grooves it doesn't stay there long, even in a revolver.

Yep, you've hit the nail on the head Ian ! !

Yes it does!
I was shooting my 30-30 with a Noe ranch dog TL plain base this weekend.
100 Rnds with just bens liquid lube and the bore is mirror bright!

This bullet with 7.5 grns of unique and a good crimp is just plain fun!!!!

This is the bullet

I will have to give that try.
I am still trying to stock up on that flavor. I only have a pound.
It has been unobtanium around here for a long time!!

Buy some Ramshot True Blue and you'll throw rocks at your 2400. And TB is available.

Shoot more handgun!
I use 2400 for lots of rifle but since I am currently shooting less rifle it is lasting quite well.

Ian, never tried True Blue, don't see much Ramshot powder around here. Will consider it if I see some.
