I wanted to make a hexagon from round stock for the handle on the hammer I was making. The head was done and I wanted a distinct handle.
Looked online, found the measurements I needed and got to work.
Turned some 1” stock to .750 on one end to hold in a 5C collet in my hex collet block. The block worked like a charm!
This is the hex back in the lathe ready to have the .750 section cut off.
