Mould storage

Well I’ve got some good information. I use the sterlite(sp) plastic shoe boxes from Wal mart. Buy 10 for 8 bucks and they are used for everything in my room. Brass tools odd ball stuff you name it. Think I’m going that route with my lees and the others I’m between Ricks set up and CWs box. I’ve got to get my benches fixed and ready. If Yal think some of this is anal, I’m screwed! And I’m not even anal, Oh wait maybe I am!

I would only store molds in oil if I needed long term storage.
My good friend does/did this and let me tell you... Getting all the oil out to cast a good bullet was a effort in patience.

Use to spray my iron moulds with oil and soak piece of cotton, that would fit in each cavity. Install handles, then spray down with brake cleaner, ready to cast. Only took a few minutes.

I also do same. Yes, Brake cleaner cleans well.

But submerging halfs in oil is a different thing entirely!

Some of these iron molds I either need to sell off, or boil & card them before putting them into some type of better long term storage.

I think I need a sealed box. And I may try Walter’s suggestion and use the FLUID FILM Corrosion Inhibitor.

Just leaving them on the shelf to slowly rot is a poor solution.

I use Fluid Film to keep my lathe and lathe tools from rusting in my clammy garage. It's basically lanolin in a solvent base aerosol and will absolutely prevent rust.

Well I’ve got lanolin, denatured alchohol, a jelly jar, and acid brushes!

Josh and CW,
You guys are late to the party, but millions of Jell-O brain Californians welcome you to their insanity.
It seems Sacramento is convinced that smoking dope is the only thing that does not cause cancer.

Hmmm . . . I wonder if the forced wearing of masks, for the last 11 months, will cause a reduction in the number of California lung cancer victims. Only stands to reason, right?

Haven’t you heard that masks increase the amount of co2 in your bloodstream. Which gives you cancer!!!o_O

Life is an STD actually it's a parasite ......

Conception has the highest confirmed numbers of death of any other combined disease , parasite , infection , injury or exposure leading to death .

Life your not getting out of it alive , so enjoy it while you can .

" If I'd known I was going to live this long I'd have taken better care of myself " . Cow piles ! If I'd known I was going to be this bad off anyway I'd have had more fun !

Some day all these health nuts will be laying in a hospital dieing of nothing .

If it immoral , illegal , or fattening , it's probably exciting , fun and delicious .

Forget it, Joshuas on a roll....

BTW, masks also load up with condensation pretty badly in our climate. A guy could drown...
I really meant will the insanity never end.
As to Joshua's purple writings, that I hope doesn't end. He did give us fair warning, though.
