I’ve been wanting a plinking round with my ‘06 rifles so I’m trying the do it yourself route. This is a Lee mold that I used my 5/16”reamer to remove the GC base. While I was at it I D/T for a set screw on the sprue plate. The mold is advertised as .309” but this cast at .312” consistently and very round.
The lubed bullet is Ben’s red with a BLL bath sized to .310” I’m starting with 4.5 grs of BE. It’s going to the range Saturday . Can’t wait to see how it does.
