Brad, I didn't catch the local connection. Just for information, the threads for the extension on mine are 1/4 X 28. Good luck on your project.

I appreciate the information. 1/4-28 is a simple thread to cut, make an extension a pretty easy project.

This one I have has a pilot hole in each end but, doesn't appear to be threaded on either end. I think 1/4x28 would be a tight fit on the shank diameter.

Having a t handle would be important to me for keeping it straight. I use a tap handle.

Your welcome to attempt threading this one. I'd think 6 or 8-32 might be about the right size for the shank diameter.

I have the Clymer reamer. The fixed pilot is .345. Usable in the Rossi but way small in the Marlin. The drive end is .250 with a flat that would be good to use with a drill extension and then a tap handle on that. That would give plenty of reach with the stock taken off.
