Lymans original load data for this bullet simply said to use std 160 gr cast bullet data. Everything I've tried has worked perfectly.
Same here. Seating depth compared to Lyman #358311 is pretty close.
While i am not a big user of WC bullets, I do have some of them laying around. Beside the #432s, I have some Remington HBWCs in plastic bags that need to be seated into 38 Special cases and fired off. The greasy black lube they are coated with makes a mess of die interiors in short order. The Hornady HBWCs for little sister's PPC machine are much mo' bettah, as our late friend Felix Robbins used to say. And there are some wide-bodied Lyman #358063 on hand, courtesy of Senor Buckshot. These are .364" in diameter, and are destined for duty in 38 S&W, which I have more of (4) than I have 38 Specials (2). How that happened......I dunno. I take in a lot of strays.
Right after snagging that 38 Reg Police x 4" last year and getting Tale Of The Tape on it, I loaded some of those #063s sized .361" over 2.5 grains of WW-231, seated out a bit. These shot very well, and I should have brought along the Colt Police Positive x 4" as well. It has MUCH better sights than the RegPol. This waits until I get walking again, like a number of other pending matters.
