post up the route when you go [it'll probably take a month to get there]

Ben:
that's 10 times better than the wire I got hanging in the garage.

it's amazing sometimes how stuff you didn't need before comes back to haunt you later.
I built a hull dispenser years back out of plywood and plexiglass that held 5,000 shot shells in 4 different compartments for a total of 20-k shells.
when we moved years ago I decided not to take it along.
4 day's ago I built another smaller [like half scale] version which costs double what the bigger one did back then.
when I think back on all the thousands of shells I just dumped cause they were a little bit used up and 'I could get more any time I wanted' I could kick myself.

Most high school coaches know a lot more about things on Monday morning than they did on Friday night.

Good luck smoky!

Our life revolves around our boys' education. We very much like the high school in Mountain Home, AR. However, we're not sure we can move the older one before he gets his undergrad degree, which we anticipate he will get on or near the same day that he gets his high school diploma. He is gifted. As in, he was calculating square and cube roots when he was 4 years old. This is why we can't risk any break in his momentum. He's currently taking a SAT prep class. We have hopes that he will ace his SATs next year or at least come close.

Best wishes on the move. I'll jump the gun and say, "Welcome to Free America!".

If you are coming out I-70, let me know when you'll be in the KC area, I'll buy you lunch or something.

Update on my shameful procrastination in the shop.

Got the new shelf unit. Went back to Costco and procured 6 more GI type ammo cans, plus a set of plastic food storage containers for bullet storage that will be far less breakable than the mason jars and more durable than the cigar boxes I inherited.

Started moving brass from the cardboard boxes it came in, into ammo cans.

Found out I have a pretty good supply of 348, but a pretty sparse supply of 218 Bee. Could use more 38-40 too.

Even though I don't have anything that shoots 308 (YET), I'm thinking of adding that to an order to Starline along with 38-40. I've always been of the opinion that one should, "git [things] while the gettin's good". And, not having a firearm of a particular caliber has never stopped me from acquiring supplies for that caliber.
