I'm a huge S&W fan. I have a 36, two 60s, 66-6", 586-4", 29-6", 629-6", 629 Classic Hunter-6" and a 4" stainless .22 model 63.
The 66 and Classic Hunter both have scopes and both will hold 1-1/2" 100 yard groups with cast loads that they like.
I've smoothed the action on all of them. Didn't touch the sear surfaces, but used stones to smooth the sides of the hammers, triggers and all other moving parts.
Having only six shots makes you focus a little more on each shot as opposed to the spray and pray that you see in some published shoot-outs.
