Beautiful rig!

Are you going to put a scope on it?

I have a nice CZ 527,223....Scoped for awhile, then took it off. These smaller iron sighted rigs are mighty handy.

Yes, the scope is mounted.
A Sightron 6 X 42 , spider web cross hairs with an 1/8 minute dot.
The scope has super clear optics.

Should be fun..........

4.5 " of rain here in 2 days.

When the rain stops, that is my 1st priority.

I'm just shocked that you haven't rigged up a weatherproof enclosure over your bench, Ben.;)

Ya Ben, have wondered about that myself. One big enough to knock out rain and sun
would be great.

Could have just made the shed a little bigger and built it where the bench is so you could just swing open the doors on the downrange side, open a drop-panel on the back for ventilation, and get to shooting ;)

I'm going to build a shooting shack for my home range and it will have electricity, and probably a window unit, circa next summer.

Ian....... you'll be so spoiled! BUT you do realize .... Your gun and ammo will need to 'normalize' outside for an accurate 'hot' lube test???:p

No problem there ...an infra red out door heater would work..

So that would be a fan, (he's got that), shade (taken care of), then the heater... now just have to find someone to mow the lawn....oh lawn chairs and grill..

I think ben's got his "Man Acre" down pretty good...:D

Now after seeing his I have to find a way of approaching the subject with my wife..we've got 7 acres in the next town..they line up nicely and would give me about a 500 yd range..
I'm thinking about offering to build a bath house on the pond that's attached to it as an incentive for her...ya,this will happen...

Second thoughts..there wouldn't be anyone else's brass too glean...well guess I'll get back to using it as the landing strip for my DC-3...better yet I'll do nothing and continue to get a smile out of Ben and Jason using theirs..
