Based on all your experience with them right?
Well based on reviews and negative feedback from acquaintances.
My father had a 67 Buick Lesabre. Entry line full size Buick......nothing fancy. His sister had one also. She also had a 67 Ford LTD...........top of the line that she bought from a inlaw that worked at Ford. She said it didn't compare favorably with the Lesabre.
Had a friend that had a 67 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible................another top of the line full size Ford. We use to alternate vehicles on fishing trips. Lenny couldn't get over how much better the ride of the Lesabre was, compared to his Galaxie.
Ford trucks always flaunted their Twin I-Beam Suspension in advertising. Ride couldn't come close to GM's independent front.
Ford is now flaunting their Military Grade Aluminum body for their pickup trucks. Good luck when you get a dent. Can't be bumped out. How do I know this? Well my wife has a GM Colorado pickup. Got into a very minor fender bender. Appears the tailgate is made of aluminum. Went to more than one bump shop.....all said the same. Can't be bumped put, has to be replaced.
Nearly $1500 for a dent that could be "fixed with a pen". Can't imagine what it would cost fix a major collision of a Ford Pickup.
BTW, Ford 460's are well know for eating timing chains.............according to literature I read from Camping World. That's why I owned a 454 GM C-Class motorhome.
Wouldn't even consider a Ford...............might as well buy foreign.
