Illegal? Unethical for sure but so is jacking up prices 15% and then having a 10% off sale. Happens all the time and for those that haven't shopped prices or it's the only place to get an item it highly effective. Who says all retailers are ethical? No doubt some are but then there is that pesky reality thing.

:headscratch:Better them then me.:)

It's real easy to spot someone who never ran their own company. Yeah...stick it too the greedy *$*&@*. Sure man.

But, like Rick pointed out, you get to pay for it in the end anyway, so....neener :p

But someone else gets to pay more, and it ain't gonna be me. CC's are a tool, you can actually make better money on them than what you can get at the bank. All it takes is discipline. Never paid a dime's worth of interest on them.:headscratch:never paid out interest for anything, never took out a loan. Raised to pay cash for everything............if you can't pay for it, you can't afford it so you don't need it.

but a ton of people don't have anywhere near that kind of discipline.
I see them paying the fee's and extra's and then another 20% to get something they think they need or to keep their credit rating up near 700.
if you play the credit game well enough you can save money on interest or get a loan a lot easier.
or you can go the other route and set aside the cash and work on the one payment plan.
you'll maybe end up getting whatever you can afford at the time when you need something like a new car if your caught up short on time.

Yes, General Motors. Clay man..........like a clay model maker/ designer? Had those at the General Motors Design Staff Building, when I worked at their Technical Center. Bob Lutz use to fly a helicopter to work, on occasion.

Yes,Bill was in the design studio.I used to do photorealism auto art and was doing Cords and Dusemburgs and somehow our paths crossed. He used to tell me story after story about cool stuff that he and staff were into.

Did he work at the Warren (MI) Tech Center or the small one they had in New York? IIRC, your in West Virginia.

They don't use much clay, these days. Have large CNC machines that churn out models out of a hard pink foam. Then they put clay on them, as they make design changes. Guess who had to keep them CNC's running?

14.5 grains of 4198 this time?

I traditionally load 20 at a time.So today was the last of that 20 @14g.

Cpl things going on here...... I don't have any "fresh" 223 cases. They're all slam wore out! Next is how I like to test loads, because these are hunting/killing fodder.... they have to be tested over a period of days.I don't trust them any other way. So,while 14g is right at 2000fps and is plenty accurate..... today's test was to see how the load stands up to a fresh, squeeky clean barrel.

The scope is one of those, once in a great while, don't happen that often..... spot on WRT clicks.Meaning, dial in 8 clicks....you get 8 clicks. No smackin the buttstock,no waiting for internal backlash settling.Click it and shoot.

Cpl other things...... wuz just throwin 14.5g 4198 charges with RCBS uniflow, small rotor.Doing 20 cases, scale hit dead nuts for the first 18 throws. 19 and 20 needed a re-throw.May not seem that impotent, but it is in how I like loading varmint, killing ammo. Don't need drama ANYWHERE during the loading process.Looking for flat spots in the tuning..... not "just" on chrono #'s,everywhere.Easy casting, easy fit, easy powder tossing, easy brrl maintenance, etc, etc.

Can't believe I don't have any cases....doh. I'll have to go to a gunstore,also need another 223 she'll holder.

got a little rain rolling through today.

I got the fish me and the SIL caught Sunday smoked today.
the new smoker is a lot more efficient than the old one, the wood lasts longer and the temps stay a lot more consistent, s it cooks/smokes the food a lot faster.
while I was doing the fish I built a stand for the little A/C cooler and got it up in the window, then put the unit up in place.
Littlegirl liked it so we went and built her one too, then put her unit in to help keep their bedroom cooled down.
