Wrong parts for the truck ........ Correct parts Thursday .......
I hate working on stuff where nothing interchanges . What the devil is so hard about 1 set of parts ......I can see maybe 4x/2x but why 4 different frames and parts sets for a half ton truck .

I had another crimson face moments today. We went to the Dr. to check on my new Migraine meds. After he was done with that i asked about a recent Gout pain i had. He wanted to check out the problem foot. I took my shoe and sock off. An i put my foot up on his knee and he started examining my toes. And he asked me what is this. Some how a live primer had stuck to the bottom of my foot between the toes and fell into his hand during the exam. I didn't say anything to him or my wife. But i thought to myself that i had just saved 3 cents.
I then had to explain how primers are used in reloading.

LOL, that’s a good one! The sneakers I wear pick up small primers and shot that is on the floor of my reloading areas and it’s not too friendly to the hardwood floors so I have to be careful.

3 cents? Heck, more like 50 cents in todays market, you better be more careful! :)

I would easily work cleaning the place! It would be an honor! He is lacking Rev War Artifacts.... I can help him there!

Fly fishing with a bamboo rod is akin to hunting with patched roundballs in a flintlock front-stuffer. Esoteric stuff.

Hmmmm... it is either pleasing to the hands and mind, or it isn't.

Managed to find my Grandpop's old R.T. Smith fly reel circa 1919. I think I'll let it have a run on this new 'boo road.

The 'boo rod and cloth rod sock for the rod he paired it to; same time, post WWI.

I keep trying to work up the enthusiasm to completely clean and recondition the silk lines, also from 1919. It's a bit of a chore. Luckily, the old boy being a machinist/tool & die maker, he looked after everything like it was machinery. He stored the lines away properly; no dry rot, no mould, etc. still strong. But the line dressing has set up over the 60 to 70 years since they were stored away.

I pulled the Scope off my Ruger #1 (45-70), figuring I'd first use Iron sights for the loads I'm working on, as I'm more interested in felt recoil than accuracy at this stage.

The Scope I removed was a older Vari-X II
I couldn't find the empty box, and I am real good about saving boxes. I did find a empty box labeled M8 fixed power 4x, Now I am pretty sure I don't one of those mounted, so where is that scope?

Boo is neat wood in being flexible and strong. BIL has his Dad's, prob. from the 20s. They get stiff if not used and the ferrules don't help. Had uncles old Martin clicker, someplace.
Dragonman is Viet vet, rough life. Wife was killed in a filming incident, smoke grenade went rocket into her chest, killing her. His paintball course looks really amazing.

I wish I had the picture handy but I don’t... One day my daughter (I think she was about 5) and I were walking in the snow and came upon some turkey tracks. She said “Look dad, arrows.” Priceless!!
