I woke up before the alarm this morning thinking "every toy I had as a child taught me building, mechanics , applied physics, alternative materials, alternative energy/fuel , and geometry. Within my generations birth years we went from competitive flathead V8s the death of the production v12 to factory production race cars . Mary Shelley's monster and the most ridiculous outlandish sci-fi became a realistic believable possibility. We were as likely to see new pictures from deep space as the bottom of the deepest oceans .
Here we are , the last gen X baby celebrated the 21st anniversary of their 21st birthday 6 months ago, the 2nd space lab is starting into it's death spiral and we are still working gravity slingshot navigation to escape our own solar system. Sure we're exploring the ocean depths but the regulators can't grasp how the oceans are warming with quadrillions of btus being released every hour at depths where 800°F won't boil water .
