Littlegirl got her a Letter from the IRS yesterday.
she was like come on.
I was telling her they were just sending her the terms of their loan and was gonna explain how they'd get the money back.
she didn't even wanna open it at that point.
it was more kind of a this is what this president does for you type thing, and it had the big O'l
Donald J Trump at the bottom.
anyway can you say unearned income..

Week 7 Day 5

Went looking for the thread about the stimulus checks, couldn't find it , not that is is gone, I just can't find it.
Was going to say that the wife and I got our check today. thumbs up.jpg Really didn't think we were going to get it.

PS Mods if you would like to move this post to that thread, please do so.

Added edit 2:15 pm: Thanks to the Mod who moved my post here.

Still waiting for ours. Did find out that it'll be a paper check, because we don't receive an IRS refund nor owe any amount, so the IRS can't send an electronic payment.
Hmmm . . . one would think that, in the year 2020, the IRS could link to our Socialist Security and my V. A. auto-deposit account numbers.

You would think so 462. I been getting SS for 9 years and the wife for 2 years by direct deposit and yet I had to fill out the form on the IRS page to give them my deposit info. Go figure :headscratch:

That's interesting . . . I didn't do anything except check my online bank statement and there it was, just like pennies from heaven.

I entered our account and routing numbers, then was asked how much of a refund we received, or how much we owed. Because neither apply, to us, and there was not a "Does Not Apply" option, I could not go any further. However, backing up to the beginning it stated that a paper check would be mailed to the address given.
We aren't holding our breath.

The hoarding isn't just toilet paper . . . .

Was going to spend part of my new found wealth on a new upright freezer. There are four stores in this town that sell freezers and there isn't a freezer in town, not a one to be found anywhere. Every one of the places told me the same thing, none left in the warehouses either and the best that could be hoped for if I order one is August. Maybe.

Hhmmm . . . . . . I wonder if people are keeping all that TP in their new freezers.

Gary, I was SOOOOOOO gonna get one of those last year after researching my heiney off. It's still my first choice, but last year the budget went to getting us a second SUV so we'd have a spare to haul babies if the primary went down for repairs, and this year I'm hoarding greenbacks to pay doctors and insurance premiums. I may look again but HF put their tinker toy back to pre-Trump prices and that's exactly what I feel ok spending right now.

I too live in a grainy/cerealy part of the country. I do own a mill.

Damned if I can figure out how to hold corn or oats in the vise.

Still didn't get mine but when I do it goes in to the family kitty. Being out of work over the past number of weeks and just collecting SS is not the best situation for us

I seriously we would ever see it. Our tax address is Peru. We have not received any U.S. of A. in over a year. But then the mail here is backed up with internet Chinese purchases for at least 14 months.

Well, I've been saving for sometime now and even sold a couple of Milling "utensils" and other stuff to collect enough that with the "welfare" check I was able to get the Mill and some tooling. Dadgum, the tooling is going to put me in debt again!!
