My failure wasn't as dramatic.
I don't hold a grudge on the matter. The reality is the failure would have appeared shortly after the gun was manufactured had the gun been fired shortly after it was manufactured. Unfortunately for me, the gun was essentially "New, Old Stock" and while 35+ years old, it was unfired.
The problem didn't manifest until long after the gun left the factory.
