I'm not technically all that old - I just used up too much youth too fast when I had it.

This really shouldn't be happening to a relatively young man, only in his early sixties.

LOL! I JUST had to carry one from my Jeep to the back of the garage the other day, but wasn't going to admit (yet) that even 30s start to suck.

Age-hardening may or may not be a "thing:"

Bullets growing or shrinking may or may not be a "thing;"

AGE-WEIGHT-GAIN really and truly IS a "THING!"

FACT: LEAD GETS EXPONENTIALLY HEAVIER EVERY YEAR IT SITS IN AN AMMO CAN.

Don't nobody even TRY to convince me otherwise.

A year and a half ago those dozen 80-pound bags of cement weighed at least 120-pounds each. How do companies get away with such false advertizing?

You guys don’t understand.

The 80# bags contain 80# of cement, that doesn’t mean that is all they weigh. Some of the those bags go 20-40 pounds empty.

I have it on good authority from Rick that brass bullet moulds gain at least a pound per year.

I'm laughing, sorta, cuz I'm trying to figure out who the smartass was that designed my 20-odd clean-ingot crates to hold four rows of 20, 1-lb ingots each, and then filled them to capacity. Good thing the concrete they sit on gets harder with age because the spot would have become a sinkhole by now. He must have been the same smartass who made the only access hole to the underside of the whole kitchen side of the house 12" high between sill plate and the ground; last time I had to get under there I nearly croaked because my belly got real tight squeezing through and I couldn't inhale. I scratched another inch out of the dirt before trying to come back out and will probably have to dig a channel next time. I know for a fact that 6' punk weighed 146 pounds soaking wet and ran marathons for fun back then and had the foresight of an armadillo.

We used to joke and sneer at the hobby farmers that bought their grain in 50 lbs bags. Real farmers bought it in 100 lbs bags and we delighted in showing off by tossing 1 bag on a shoulder and carrying another under the other arm. These days the 50 pounders weigh at least 85 lbs, possibly more, and I walk funny favoring one side or the other depending on where my back hurts that day...

3 sacks of shot is all you can get in a 30 cal can .
The Lee ingots stack better in a 30 cal can than a 50 .
Seems like anything over a half can is more than I want to muck with these days .

I remember a 24" crawl space being a lot bigger when I was 12 , 16 , 25 .......

Those little 90sec naps really help , as long as you're not driving .

Be cautious about what you scold kids and grands for doing .
For the last few weeks of fork/spoon vs fingers mastery with the 2 yo granddaughter we have struggled with the age old veggies in the glass gag and the everything tastes better dipped in the glass .......yeah pasta in milk not really a thing for me ...... So of course it's been a lot of " forks not fingers " and " don't put dinner in your drink" .
There I am enjoying my self imposed once a week dessert thing with John Wayne racing around Oakland in his brand new 73' Pontiac TA dogging the daylights out of Fury's etc in McQ , and the 3 yo grandson taps me on the arm and says " Pappa no dinner in your cup " . Way to go kid ...........how the heck else are you supposed to eat Oreos ? Good call , but , really did you have to spoil that one simple joy with the fact that it's an exception to the no dinner in your cup rule ? You can't even be upset .

You can apply the above logic of a 2-3 yr old to a FB discussion and folks can't even produce enough thought process to block you much less find an argument .

Oh yeah!!!! With mine it's, "Babe, I was thinking..."!!!! Makes the blood run cold just to think of the pain and bloodletting those few words have lead to!!!!!

Kinda like the word just. Can’t we just replace the faucet. Can’t we just replace the floor.

the problem is it's me that starts the faucet thing then notices the window isn't quite square.
or,, you know the front porch railing is really loose even with that vine you wrapped it in, okay i'll look at it,,,
10-K in wood later, the railing is gone and there is now 36' worth of front porch across the house, nobody even used the front door for almost 20 years how did the railing get loose?

I know it seems that my arms are shrinking or I am getting taller each year. I can hardly bend over to reach a piece of brass on the ground. I now have to have one of those squeeze picker uppers that are 2 feet long to pick up brass. That ground just seems to be getting farther an farther each year

Yeah Im shooting more wheel guns cause I can drop brass in my hand then box instead of off the floor with my 1911's

Yupper! And when did the whole world go out of focus? I mean, everything is fuzzy now. I think it must be aliens causing it!
