Thats just it, often my temp does get away from me but I was on this one like a hawk cause I know had three hours. BOTH pots was still solid pieces as I stired to melt. So defineatly NOT excessive temps.
Also once molten throttle was backed way down. Gold occured instantly after second wax flux and stayed till end.

Second pot was 100% normal. Same range scrap. Was quite odd.

Not much alum missing there.

What caliber will they go into?
Yeah first time I opened that mold and I knew the bullets are tiny, but when you actually see it, they are seriously small. But I bought a 2 cavity 22 caliber 39 grain NEI mold from Brad, and good mold but a big iron mold with two tiny cavities. Sold it.
This 36 slick is a 5 cavity kicks out the bullets fast. Cast about a 100 and the pot was only down about 1/2 inch once I put the Spurs back. But yeah when you look at the mold with the tiny cavities you think that you should get a discount. LOL
But I have Hornet 16” twist and this Martini Bee also with a 16 inch twist. Also I have a Winchester featherweight in 223 with a 12 inch twist. The Winchester will probably see the LEE 224-55 and the Saeco 221 62 grain.
But the little slick PC’ed could be fun and should not require high velocity to maintain accuracy.
I still have hopes The 47 grain Bowman will work in the 16” twist.
I’m envious of your 14” twist rifle.
I’ve been working on my neighbor to pry loose a beautiful Savage 23D that’s that’s near new condition, but, it’s still a 16 inch twist.
One day, one day I’m going to own a faster twist Hornet or Bee.

So because the software one allow me to type in with pictures I have to make a second posting… This was just a test of three molds that came in need of cleaning adjusting and they seem to Alcast pretty good. The 9 mm mold has some pitting in one cavity but it seems to Kasson OK bullet everything drops free everything works as it should

Managed to squeeze in a little casting session this evening. The NOE 309-177 is an interesting, new mould. I'll get into some detail after I've got to shoot ut a bit. The Arsenal 313-115-RF (which is actually a .310) is a fantastic plinker in my 30/30- soon to be tried in a variety of other.30- cal rifles

CW, is the 453-238-SWC an old mold? NOE shows a 453-237-SWC now. I wanted to get this one during the sale but it was sold out, still is. Wanted to try it in my Smith 625.

If Im not mistaken its a copy of the Lyman 454423. This one belongs to Walks I tried to but during the same as well.

Im waiting for it to return as a HP (and solid) myself.

Not really sure if old or not but possible.
