Weather guessers downgraded the snow totals for our area. Currently, raining and 40 degrees. Suppose to hover around 38* most of the day. Rain changing to snow around 4 PM. Not hitting the freezing mark till 1AM, tonight...............storm suppose to be out of here by then. Calling for less than one inch accumulation.:D

You are welcome John. We took a bunch of that snow and kept it up here.

I don’t mind the snow as much as the ice that is under it. Daughter in NC is expecting up to 1/2” of ice tomorrow. Yuck

Bret's fear mongers, excuse me, weather guessers live here, too. Yesterday, there was a "volcanic eruption" near the Tongan Islands. Starting at 0735, this morning, a tsunami watch goes into effect. I'm a mile from the bay, there goes the neighborhood.

One thing I loved about the weather guessers in CA was that any rainy day was the storm of the century.

Covered the bushes with plastic tarp weighed down with 5 &10# weights. Tarp blown off and weights MOVED. Low 30s last nite, cooler tomorrow.

Southern MN got some snow yesterday and the wind blew it around through the night.
-2º this morning, so it was brisk while shoveling/plowing, but I tell ya, it feels good.
Glad my mild sickness is pretty much over, whatever it was.
My buddy got his test results back... "Positive".

Glad you're feeling better Jon.

32* here for the last 1-1/2 hrs. Snowing for the last 2-1/2 hours. Melted before or when it hit the ground for the 1st hour. Have about 3/4" on the ground now.

Yesterday's snow fall was a dud. Maybe 3/4" mostly on grassy surfaces.

Twenty seven degrees at 5 AM, currently 24* with NW winds at 5-10 mph. Suppose to hit 42 * with full sunshine. What we received should melt, this afternoon. High 40's Monday. High 50's Tuesday.

Minus 4 degrees here at 6 am this morning but no winds. It warmed up quick with bright sun & clear skies. Hit 22 degs at noon.
It is supposed to warm up to 28 degs this afternoon before the east coast storm hits us. They say for our area it will be a snow, then freezing rain, then rain event starting 8 pm tonight and lasting into Monday afternoon.

About 13 miles NNW of you (as the crow flies) and we got right around double the snow. Since dawn it's been literally raining off the trees. Every clump of snow that drops, Tasha thinks it's a squirrel and looks. I thought she was going to give herself whiplash.
