I've been running numbers in the Strelok app .
I'm surprised by the numbers really but a bit amused by them .
I can really lay the fire to a 405 ( it's a 45-70 so it's relative) and run it 1600fps and get the virtually same numbers back as a 535 457132 at 1100 fps . Being that slow I can cast it soft maybe knock it down to 525 gr with a drilled HP and get all the joy .
For grins I ran that 600 HTC NOE makes at just 1000 fps , it will eclipse both of the above . I know how hard a 325 Leverevolution kicks and I've pushed a 350 to 1900 which in a light rifle was plenty of recoil . The 535 sub was actually quite pleasent to shoot in an 1895G, I don't know about all day but 50 would certainly not be exhausting really . I find if you have a little bit of rifleman's skill and a knowledge of the loads , a 150 yd zero makes 200 pretty easy to guess in . Past that of course hold over becomes feet pretty fast . Nearly 4' at 300 yd and 5.5 plus by 400 .
