I think y'all might be surprised. What I'm about to show you are bullets cast from either 16 to 1 or 20 to 1, I don't remember. They are really soft. You drop one on the floor and it dents it bad. The nose punch leaves a good mark on it. Here's the 10mm 180 grain that I swage a pent point hollowpoint into after I have free checked with soda can aluminum. The velocity is mighty close to 1200 fps. Shot into a plastic container stuffed tight with paper and soaked for a day. Shot at dang near point blank range. Used two pistols, a long slide 6 inch barrel Glock and longslide 6 inch barrel 1911. Here's the pics:
