I don't drink enough to have a problem with the docs . I always want to quit smoking but I just couldn't get started .

I do seem to have outgrown my heavy right foot .

Wasted another day . I just can't get started when there's a promise of breakfast and Ms gets called to tend her mother at stupid late and doesn't get home until just before daylight ....... I don't know what happens it's like all the desire to do anything gets washed away .

I smoked anywhere from a pack and a half to 4 packs a day for the better part of 40 years. Quit any number of times but always went back. My last smoke (or any tobacco at all) was July 7, 2006. I quit cold turkey. I still get the occasional craving.

I don't have a digital anything, but 2 of my 3 powder measures/drops are affixed to a hunka 6x6 blocking. High enough for anything I load, easy to move around. The B+M is affixed to a shelf, probably my favorite of the 3.

Haven't had a drink in about 15 years. One thing I am proud of is that none of my kids have ever seen me drink that I can recall, much less drunk and terrifying like my parents were. Don't have much use for drunks at all.

SWMBO is home sick. Trying to get in for a Plague test. Funny how there are commercials on the radio and elsewhere for Plague tests, just call anytime after 7:15AM... and no one answers the phone!

Gotta start on the crawler today. Buncha other stuff to do too. Grey, humid and not too cool out. We could use some snow. The front yards around here scream, "Lots of dogs here!" Snow at least covers the yellow up.

I am not a fan either. I have a few and use them but not for powder.

This Lyman is great. Non digital!!!

We see how I like this RCBS...

I just had one this morning. The Clinic has lots of the kits, I seen the boxes of them. But I suspect those are only for clinic/hospital purposes. I am scheduled for a colonoscopy on Wednesday.

I ordered the 4 free "home" tests, the day they became available, still haven't got them yet. While I have no use for them myself, my 91 yr old Mom wants them handy for some reason.

Please note; I heard that insurance pays for the at home test lists, but Meidcare and part D does not.

Well I just lost my little buddy "Little Bits" today; not a pet But A little runt of a litter from last year on the Cat Ranch. He came from a 1 year old small mother and was the smallest of her 2 kittens in her 1st litter. The bigger sister pretty much ruled the "milk stations" and he was under-nourished. I Fed him twice daily with KMR and Finally got him on solid foods and he was doing well until the past few weeks when we started getting into the below zero mornings and teens for highs....even though he went into the winter with a nice plump body..... He lost it quickly as the weather got very cold! He would come out in the morning to try to eat, but he quickly ran back into his warm Styrofoam house! I started seeing he was eating less and started hand feeding him to get him thru the cold mornings.

This morning was 0 degs and when I fed the hordes He was not out! I check all the houses but he was not in any that I could tell. I knew that was not a good sign. I had to run to the store late morning and when I got back he was laying in the sun with a bunch of his friends warming up....but he was looking very frail.....I tried hand feeding him with KMR and boiled chicken ( his favorite) but he was not interested. I told my wife I think today he will be leaving us!
Around 3:30 pm I gave the horde their evening meal and I noticed he had not moved from his spot where he was sunning himself! Petted him and he was cold!
I really tried to give him a chance at life but you can't fight Mother Nature!
(In the above I referred the "He" Well in reality He was a Calico so He was She!........as my wife constantly corrected me! When it comes to my Cat Ranch, I'm "gender neutral" when it come to their names! I feel a little depressed but I did try the best I can )

My dad was a Tarryton (sp??) guy, "I'd rather fight than switch!". Mom was Virginia Slims because thats what modern, sophisticated womens lib types smoked. (Cue Helen Reddy's "I am Woman Hear Me Roar". Dad eventually quit with those "One Step at a Time" doohickies which pissed mom off for some reason. Booze killed Dad, smokers lung cancer killed Mom.

My mother smoked Tarringtons and drank Reingold beer. My father would quit smoking every spring. Then go clean the garage. The stuff use to come flying out of the garage. Us kids would just leave for a couple of weeks. During the summer we'd have to repaint the walls in the living room. The previously white walls would begin to yellow after the house being closed up all winter with a couple of smokers. Heck if something went wrong it wasn't uncommon for my mom to have two or three going at once.

Got the exploratory surgery on the crawler done. Sure enough, there was ice inside the oil pump! Why I don't think to take a picture until after I've fixed the interesting parts is beyond me. It was just packed with ice! Sheared the pin that drives it off the distributor. Quite a bit in the oil pan too and that's AFTER I changed the nasty water contaminated oil! The hardest part was getting the skid pan off. The bolts came out fine but the rear of the pan was packed with ice and wouldn't clear a cross member. Aimed the big weed burner at it and it eventually popped off. It went pretty good as the temps got up in the high 20's. Thank goodness for cordless impact wrenches!!! Took me a minute to get it back in time, I had a typical brain fart and overthought things, but she's running and I have good oil pressure. I do need a new gauge though.

At least we can get back into the woods now. Next up is the Ford 800. Need to warm and drain the hydraulic system and tranny. Everyone is using Universal Transmission Fluid in them now and tractors have a much easier time of it I'm told.

Cindy got the Plague test. She looks like crap and sounds worse. I hate when she's sick.

My old dog started heaving today. I rushed him outside and he vomited up a good sized piece of plastic and a SOCK!!! I could see the plastic if it smelled like food, but a sock? He's 14. I wonder if dogs get dementia?

I used to take care of a big stubborn hound who would eat things he shouldn't and then produce them later as a surprise. During one trip, that turd vomited up his owner's knee sock, waited until breakfast the next day, hup-huuup-hup-hoooooorrcked out a mismatched sock, and then dropped out a third during the morning constitutional. I had to call the owner, see if she wanted them back. She did not.

My daughter came home sick from grandma and grandpa's a few weeks ago. Thankfully didn't pass it on to them. Probably got something at school, sure. That night I hit 102+ degrees, not optimal.. The next day I tested positive on a rapid test, figures, dealing with the fever and later the aches and congestion and so forth. My wife was dealing with it a day later. Spent the 10-day quarantine home, wife did 14 days at home for work.. and then last Friday my daughter gets a fever. Fine, ibuprofen, Tylenol, keep it in range.. We go get her tested, at the doctor's request, negative.. fine.. get her home, and a while later she starts seizing.

Four hours at the ER, one positive Covid test (negative flu and PCR) later, they say Febrile seizure due to temp changes, she got to spend the last week at home, wife got to spend another week working at home, kid has been feeling amazing since Sunday running all over the place, wife and I are still feeling effects.

I spent a chunk of Saturday replacing the radiator in my truck, it somehow developed a crack after 250,000 miles, and gorilla tape wasn't holding the fluids in very well. The rest of the weekend was a bust, ibuprofen, ice packs, hot showers. Definitely still feeling less than 100%. All that time home and I feel like I'm weeks behind on anything I have been wanting to get done. Glad we're all okay here, but wow. This month has been flying by.

Scary with the kid Harm! Glad she's better.

Cindys Plague test came back positive. 5 days out of school, but not off her sick leave, a freebie so to speak. She looks better this AM.

Got all my muscle bone issues straightened out for now. Sometimes the PT time seams worse then just living with the issue. But in the end it is well worth it. Hang in there bud!

Best wishes for all those suffering from the Covid. We have been thru it several times now, no fun. But the wife kid and I are still here, thank God. Prayers are with you.
