We have 5 male cats that let us take care of them here, all fixed young. 1 mine a f5 savana he is grumpy & don't like cats, he has cancer so will not be with us long I fear.
Just a week or so ago had a stray cat I have let pass since last summer made a kill on a bunny right out front......
And that is all I have to say about that.

pulled down some over rambunctious 7 mauser rounds today, swapped powders and re-seated the remainders of the test.
one of the hornady dumps said 42grs. of that swapped to powder, it was 41.9 but consistent with 8 of 10 dead on, one .1 on either side somewhere in there.
good enough.
I'll do the others tomorrow, they got washed and poked at today.
partially prepped some 0-6 Brass i don't need, but might load anyway with some bullets i got sitting there i probably need even less.

We used to have some dirty, no good SOBs that were dropping off pregnant cats out here. At one point we had 20 some freakin' cats we had to get fixed. Fortunately some people in the next county over had a spay-neuter program they wormed us into, so it only cost us something like $300 instead of thousands. If I see a strange cat around now, I often try to discourage it taking up residence. I don't like killing much of anything but coyotes, but I'm not going through that crap again- ever.

I'll tell you this much- cats are way over populated in the nation, as are dogs. If anyone would use their head in gov't, then spay-neuter programs would be available everywhere and they would be doing their best to get people to fix their animals. This especially goes for the vicious breeds of dogs. With all due respect to those that have loveable, gentle Pits, Rotts, Huskies, etc., there are far too many dogs that should just be put down. Of course, I feel that way about a good portion of the adult human population too, so take that with a grain of salt!

Rant off.

I loaded up 50 rounds if 243 after prepping (fully) 100cases of RP brass. Most was once fired.

I tried a new to me powder 2000MR. I picked it up to try hi velocity loads in the Mauser a couple years ago when it came out a d never did. No need since picking up my 358 NM.

Got a important appointment for the wife this AM. Really pray for some answers but I know it is only first visit so it might take a couple
Visits.

The replacement coil for the side of the road-find Echo leaf blower arrived today from the fleabay vendor. When I removed the coil from the blower, I compared it to the replacement, and it is the same coil. Markings on the case including the name of the manufacturer which is molded into the case are all identical. This coil lists for $135.00 from Echo as an OEM part. It costs me a tad over $15 shipped on fleabay.

Of course, putting it back together did not go smoothly. I used my electric impact to tighten the bolt that holds the blower fan to the crankshaft and doesn’t it shear the head off the bolt. Never broke a bolt with an electric impact wrench in my life. Bolt must have been made from yak cheese. Then I go to look for my left handled drill extractor set that my cousin gave to me for Christmas a few years ago. I used it this summer. Nowhere to be found. So, drilled the bolt and drove a torx wrench into it and it backed right out. Tightened the new bolt by hand.

Put the plug in and checked spark. What a difference. No more wimpy spark. Big fat blue spark.

Got it back together and she fired right up. Ran like a raped ape. So, for $30 and a little therapy work, I have a $289.00 leaf blower. Not bad.

Doc got one of those "Aw shi*" looks on his face this AM when I told him what was going on. Had a long (for a Dr.) talk and I'm on a different anti-biotic with strict instructions to CALL HIM if things get worse instead of better. He did mention he was having a lot of problems with people that should be getting better getting worse. I pointed out he was fighting the effects of a Chinese bio weapon and ineffective vaccine that wasn't a real vaccine and that this might be a new paradigm. I don't think he liked that theory much, but he didn't say I was wrong.

Took some inventory of Bullets I need to cast this winter. Guess I will now be starting to cast the NOE 30 caliber 165 grain Ranch dog mould.
Propably the one I shoot the mostly for target work. I sized the NOE 246-105 I just cast and did a quick check of their weights to throw out the culls before Powder coating.
Made a large bone in pork chop tonight with shake and bake and sprinkled with smoked powdered Aleppo chillies!
And a side of roasted mushrooms

Wow, that brings back memories. My Mom used to make Shake n Bake chicken back when it first came out. Had to be in the 60's.

My Dad was a butcher and worked for A&P. I remember when frozen foods started hitting the markets. He brought home this box of Mrs. Weaver's Chicken on night. Said it was a brand new product in the store and thought we should try it. We did. We never did again. But Shake n' Bake was pretty good. Doubt the wife will make it. I suspect it has way too much salt in it for her.

While I was organizing all the endmills I found a 5/16" ball nose so before I tore down the setup on the CNC mill I put the ball nose mill in and ran four more blocks. I'm hoping the .3125" mill will cut a cavity to the right size for a .309 - .310 ball. This isn't a standard buckshot size but I think it would be the right size for mouse fart loads in .30 rifles and .32 handguns. We'll see. It is a standard size endmill so no special ($) grinding needed.

A while back I bought a 12" used Buck four jaw chuck off eBay, $200 total. I want to use it on the big radial arm drill and move the 10" four jaw back over to the manual lathe chuck rack. The ad said the chuck had a camlock back but I could tell from the photos that wasn't the case. The online info on the chuck said this model was a face-mount type and the pictures clearly showed four bolts used to attach it to whatever back your lathe uses. In my case I want to adapt it to a stand and bolt it rigidly in place so I needed to take the existing back off and make an adapter plate. I was afraid I would need to use a lot of penetrating oil and heavens knows what else to get the bolts loose but after bolting it down to my welding table with stuff from my mill clamping kit I was able to use a breaker bar and get all the bolts out. A little more work with some wedges and a pry bar and I was able to get the back off. Spent another hour cleaning out the shop dirt and knocking off the surface rust.

The jaws operate pretty smoothly and except for a few minor surface dings (normal shop wear and tear) the whole thing is in good shape. Buck is a pretty good brand of chuck. I found out from my experience with the current chuck that using it on the drill press where we always use good quality oil soluble coolant will actually clean and protect the chuck. Looking forward to using it. I'll post photos as this project proceeds.

finished off those 7's,, i guess we'll see how they shoot in a few months.
prepped the 0-6 went down and stared at the 30 cal. bullet supply for 20 minutes went and got some 45 acp brass out and threw it in the wet tumbler.
then stood there for another 10 minutes, then i started wondering where i even got some of those bullets, then i decided if i ever need any 180gr. solid base Noslers i can just load them at that time.

People are testing positive over and over again with the Plague test kits, but they don't get the bad symptoms. My theory is that between the Plague, whatever was in the crap they stuck you with, RSV, the various seasonal flus and the flu shots, colds, etc, all that crap is mixing together and you're coming up with new nasties. And of course all the people that start a course of anti-biotics/anti-virals and only take half the meds then quit don't help at all.

I did notice that my Dr didn't ask me anything at all about getting the Jab the last 2 times I was in. He was hot on before. Maybe those admissions the pharm execs made changed his mind.

Got my phone back. I've got to get the info/pics off it and do a factory reset I think. At least I can get the info now, but everything I read says it needs to basically be reformatted.

Ice here this AM. I'm surprised school didn't get called off. Nasty out there.

Feel a little better, hope to get something, ANYTHING!, done today.

Welp, I might have wasted my $$$ trying to get this phone fixed. I did get my contact numbers but the texts and pics are gone. Did a factory reset on the phone and it's not co-operating at all. I suppose a new phone is in the future. Problem is, every thing I look at that is in my price range (<$100) has reviews that range from poor to abysmal! I dunno, I use the darn thing as a phone/text, notebook, to grab pictures of stuff so I will remember how it came apart, stuff like that. Calculator, a couple of plant ID programs and some music. No streaming, almost no on line stuff, ral simple. You'd think there'd be reliable phones out there, but it doesn't sound that way. LG is out of the phone biz now and I'm not the only one sad to hear it.

I dunno, maybe I'll go back to a cheap flip phone and call it good.

heck Bret i got my flip phone for free from Verizon.
it was supposed to be the 49 dollar model, but it has wi-fi [i didn't activate] a camera [well it has a lens on the back so i'm assuming it's for a camera] makes phone calls and does text messages.
it has a bunch of other 'buttons' that come up if i play with it enough, so i'm guessing one of them will do the other stuff you need.

got the G-boy tonight, so it's gonna be a tussle whether to watch paw patrol or some of the stuff i recorded this week.
