I have Chronic Everyday Migraine for ten years now.
Amitriptiline has been the miracle drug as a preventative. I spent 8 years trying the wrong remedies from the wrong doctors.
Mine were like a brain freeze that only went away during sleep.
I hope you get better!
Sumatriptan is the most miracle drug ive ever used.knocks migraine out, less then an hour.

Retiring has helped on those migraines as well. No more 90 mile daily commute.
Today my brother invited me to go flying in his plane. Beautiful day, beautiful country, grass is green!
Bridgeport, Jacksboro, and Possum Kingdom Lakes looked great!

did you know the words 'Bomb Shelter' are a trigger phrase that'll wake me up from a sound sleep?
I hate to admit this, but/hellova life lesson...

Once upon a time when I was a green Butter Bar... I had a Vietnam Vet Warrant - Rocky. Rocky was a Gem! And then another Vietnam Vet Warrant in the Co (rather pompous ass, imho). PA pissed me off royal one day. His shop office was on a second floor with big picture windows on both sides overlooking the shop. I told Rocky that I was tempted to throw a fake grenade across said PA's desk and close the door (yeah - he REALLY pissed me off/back then we had a couple real prick Warrants/I have another story regards another as well...).

Rocky was a GREAT Mentor/Teacher/I HIGHLY respected him. When I told him what I was tempted to do, he damned near smacked me (to his credit!). He told me PA/WO3 Swadisch (sp?) was a Vietnam Vet, and if I did that, he would definitely immediately dive through the picture window to the shop floor below, to his demise - and I DAMNED WELL BETTER NOT DO THAT STUPID SHIT!

It was a real eye opener for me. And super eductional - first I REALLY realized some of the company and experience I was in and around. Suffice it to say I stood down/swallowed my pride and learned a HUGE LIFE LESSON that day.

... and don't think I have told that story in probably 35++ years since when it happened....

I planted 2 more primroses beside the other4 that bought the other day.
I`m waiting for it to dry out enough to plant some sweet peas.
I see that the spinach and snap peas that I planted germinated.
It looks like I will have to replant the lettuce.

Plan on very little today. Tweaked by lower back yesterday morning, don't know what did it. Loaded 3 bags of fertilizer from BB store (yup, they put the cheap stuff on the ground behind the stack of spreaders - so you don't get the cheap stuff?). Fortunately a young kid loader took it off the cart into the back of the car. I'm NOT unloading it today! She said church was at 6 last nite but it was at 7 so I found a comfy chair in the lobby and vegged. Came home and lathered the back with icy-hot, slept pretty good. Yup, elderly gals are never wrong.

My Humminbird, Minnkota dealer, repairman called and said my new top of the line bow mount trolling motor was in and scheduled me to bring in the boat today. It's probably 50-55 miles over there because of having to get a bridge over the Mississippi. When we got there it looked like a used boat dealership. Man is he busy!
So my current trolling motor is going to be installed on my buddy Jimmy's boat on the 10th. He's headed to the Tulsa gun show soon. The one going on my boat is one of the new brushless versions. I am pretty excited about it. 72" shaft, 90 # of thrust, extremely accurate Spot Lock, oh boy!
Got home from that and pulled the head of my Porter Cable 60 gallon air compressor, blown head gasket. Trying to get a new set of gaskets was one of the most frustrating endeavors I have attempted lately. How in the bloody hell can a perfectly good piece of equipment be declared obsolete and parts discontinued. The Porter Cable, a good Tennessee company has out sourced its customer service to India. Completely useless. I think I have the correct parts ordered from ePlacement parts.com, I think.
After I glued the top of my head back on, I swept part of the shed floor, the found a new Bluebird house and a decent treated 4x4 post. I think I'll have to pull the existing Bluebird house in the big prairie and move it 100 yards west and install the new house a couple hundred yards East. I think that'll give them enough separation.

had a few errant snow flakes this morning then the Sun come out.
i got out back and looked through the garlic beds after pulling the shade-ish cover off the one.
there's one here and there showing some green, not bad for March... especially considering that some of the dirt is still froze solid.

not sure i'll get anything or much out of the one bed, it got a bunch of weed seeds in it last fall from some new dirt, and they are starting to show up hard core.
i'll pull what i can as i go and see what happens, if it looks like too much i'll drag the weeds out and put something else in there later... [shrug] that'll cut me down to about 250 heads of garlic so i think we can handle the loss.

i got started on putting in the PVC pipes for the plastic covers on a couple of beds where the onions will be going.
first i had to remove all the fencing and Tee posts i had stashed in there last fall, then dig out the tools and screws and parts, by the time i got one side of one bed done i was tired.

this is the weirdest whatever it is i got i've ever had.
fever-no fever, hungry-not hungry, tired-can't sleep for more than 2 hrs.
cough-no cough, nose running-sinus headache.... today i was talking like that hot blond on the phony sexy commercials.
it just rolls around and around.

the G-Girl got it and she looks like she just got out of the shower after a 3 day coke binge...
i guess when your 3, 2 hrs of sleep every 3-4 hrs. just doesn't work for you.

I noticed that fiver mentioned his garlic.
I planted mine last October.
With the mild wet winter that we are having , it is doing great.
The Music is up 8" and the elephant is up to a foot tall.
I moved about a half a cord of wood from my wood pile to under the lean-to behind my shop yesterday.
The garden soil should be dry enough today to plant the sweet peas along the garden fence.
My grandson gave me some dahlia bulbs.
I`m trying to decide if it`s to plant them or too early.
I need to pick up some more rose bushes.
The local market has them for 9$.

WGI_0433.jpegWGI_0103.jpegWGI_0063.jpegWGI_0011.jpegGot into the woods this AM. Far far too windy for calling coyotes. So I pulled memory cards and replaced 48 AA batteries in 6 cameras.

Trimmed some lanes to cut down on false pics and checked the new stand. Straps had loosened so tighened them abd had a ten min sit ta try out. Its gonna be very very nice!!

Couple pics I loaded on phone.. (date not properly set.)

Scrubbed the CVA barrel with choreboy. Finally 'got the lead out' as they say. Still think it was the excessive neck tension that caused it. Shot cast fine till it didn't.

Went down to the iron stairs/ walkway that I assembled for my grandson to turkey hunt. They looked like ghosts in the fog.
The gobbler looked at me a couple of times, but didn’t care much for my sweet talk- being that he had NINE hens with him already….
I’ll keep trying. I’m using my.218 Bee with the Lee 55 gr flatnose going around 1600 fps.

I have dill coming up. And the wild
garlic is about 6 inches tall here. When that happens it is time to put the peppers, small onions and tomatoes in the ground. In the next two weeks. Limited room and a lot of vermin to keep out. So that's all I grow.

Well was going to work on the Jeep. All evening whistling thru nickel and dime issues.

But the starter selonoid started sticking on the truck. So taking it in the lifetime warranty one, for warranty exchange. Then have to go get momma some meds. And she wants fed
Plus keys made.. I might get to the truck today.

Why the original selonoid lasted 20 years? But the replacements need changed every 11 months. Like clock work? Just can't figure that. You think if I had something wasting them, that part or whatever would have failed in 4 years. Heck the truck don't even have parasitic draw. Which is rare for a 250.
