Yesterday me and the dog are head down at work in the loading room. Knock,knock on the front door....we don't have a door bell. Go out and it's a census lady person. Starts her speil with some BS about privacy and security as she's holding a tablet.

1st..... this your house? "Yup"

2nd..... renting anything out,rooms,otherwise? "Nope"

3rd.... you get your mail here? "Yes,and a P.O. bx."

Gets in her mini van and splits. Isn't a "census" about a head count? I mean,heck you want to know what colour my drawers are today.... they're Nike blue. Just sayin,I'll answer whatever you want but shouldn't the questions be about live bodies?

Other than to verify that our names and address were correct, the only 2010 census question I answered was the number of people living in our house. Several months later, some follow-up census guy came round and started in. I told him that two people live in the house, and that was all the information he and Washington were going to get.

Next year's census will be a replay.

The 2020 census has started? Maybe I need a new calendar cause mine says 2019. Quite possibly not a census worker at all and that would concern me greatly.

Constitution says the gubmint will count noses. I tell them how many noses live here. Period.

So I googled when does the 2020 census begin. Actually got a couple of different answers but near as I can tell the first nose counting will begin with hospitals, retirement homes, homeless etc. That I could find out there hasn't yet been any house to house canvassing yet.

Again,just me being me but.... the gubment and potentially more serious is health care industry,needs to be working on keeping ahead of hackers. Poor woman didn't know that I had a DS in my back pocket... OR.... That if she'd show'd up an hour or so earlier the sound of CB's being blasted is.... how we roll.

Dang Luepold scopes.... they very well "may" be my favorite optics but that doesn't mean interspectiveness don't crop up now and then....huh?

Just sayin..... I got varmints to ventilate. So,clicking in 1 min of R and 2 min of down needs to be....just that. Hate to say it but,I got cheapchit Trashco's that have better values. This isn't gonna stop me from using/purchasing Luepold but,DANG I wish they'd get off their arses and step up.

I been getting some calls from the CDC lately one was specifically about Wyoming residents, I'm not a Wyomingite but they still had questions.
then a follow up call about having kids, I told her the IRS had already come and confiscated them.

That I know of the census has not yet started. My guess would be that if someone is knocking on your door now it's only to find out if anyone is home. Not good.

Got a break in the wind and figured,send some Lee 150's downrange.... Blankety blank Luepold.

Decent group,somewhere round 2200 and climbing... heck,3 shot groups are definitely within killing range and this gaul dang scope can't make simple clicks?

Load development is on track.... my shooting is round 90% plus,gun is doing what it's designed to do...

I'm gone. Going to wander around in the woods with the dog..... looking,and no doubt will find enlightenment.

Couple of weeks ago, the Springfield local news talked about the census......................the gubernuts are sending census takers out now for preliminary info. Advised to look for the official lanyard ID.

John, I thought you had a gated entrance? In Texas a fence and closed gate means "no trespassing", figure it does in AR too. The only defense to prosecution of trespassing here involves utility, pipeline, medical, or firefighters in the course doing their job, or LEO's with signed warrants. I've been told game wardens don't need probable cause or permission from anyone to go wherever they like, not sure that's true but I wouldn't bet against it either. The tax assessor and all others, gov or not, can do their job from satellite images and through the US mail and have no trespassing privileges.

I have a friend who works for a large printing company (RR Donnelly)...it may be the largest Printer in the world?
Anyway, they are printing the Census forms, the first batch deadline is October and there are several more batch deadlines that go out to January. I don't know when the Census officially starts, but it can't start before October.

One of the best features of my $299 SWFA is it's tracking. You can run that thing all over the place and it goes where you ask it to and then returns to zero. This one is a fixed 10x.

Ditto with my 6x. I can dial windage and elevation all day long and it tracks like a bloodhound.
