That would be like running an insolated wire around the outside of the legs of the feeder to "discourage" the trash bandits from accessing the feeder and accessories?

Insulated hardware cloth sleeves around the legs, from about a foot off the ground to as high as you can go might work if the whole unit is high enough off the ground. Don't forget the ground rod.

Good eye, Gary, looks customish, like it, might steal the idea but it will need a positive lock for the B&M.

All my green powder reservoirs are melted near the bottom from Titegroup and Longshot.

OK,don't get me started on home boy disc sanders, haha. Really hate to be this way but unless you're sporting a 16" or better steel, balanced disc on a nice 3phase motor run through a VFD....... uhhh,I ain't got a lot of use for them.

So,for some reason we have a few of these aluminum pcs of doodoo hiding under benches.

Do some quality layout work and drill/bore 7/8" holes in it...... some of these things have cast ribs in their bttm. So you want to miss those and also "plot" where or how the retention nut is in relationship to any underside rim.

Just don't be in a hurry on your layout.Like my dad used to say..... "there's a reason pencils have erasers".

Oh,that pic is an older C-man 6X48 sander. That one has pretty decent belt tracking. The later, newer ones belt tracking was designed by a complete moron.

Why do you need to know this? Buy the newer ones for cheap money, everyone wants the older models and they get good money. These are VG Sanders if you throw away the stupid disc.

The competition is Powermatic and Deltas. They bring a premium cause of their "label"....... BUT,and this can not be overstated. The cast iron used in C-man tools, especially a sander platen makes everyone else's wear like playdough. They are so soft and so bad to weld(Tig process) that you'll wish you'd listened to mom and gone to college.

Want to machine some C.I. ? Compare a C-man and anybody else's. The chit is that good. But their designs suck.Just interesting how internet babbling see's folks jumping on bandwagons praising one label and peein on another?

that rotating top could be affixed to a lee turret or just made free-standing.
I have a feeling that a 20 ga. shell plate from a Hornady 366 would be quite useful if a guy were handy with a welder.
it sure beats having them spread out over 4-5' of shelf behind the bench space though.

Spent some time cleaning and reloading some 308 brass this morning. I really like the sound of rain on my metal building.
308 with RL7 23gr.jpg
Mold used was a 311291 and ALL but ONE in this block have been PC'd and NO GC. The one that I had already lubed and installed a GC on is somewhere in the group. Can you spot it? BTW; loaded over 23 of RL7.

I can't tell for sure, I'd say far left front row maybe??

trim metal for the roof wasn't ready yet,,, so next week.
I did get the Blocks for repairing the chimney ordered so maybe while I'm up there anyway I can haul them up and dig down far enough to get that straightened out properly without it being a catastrophe.

gonna get that STAG upper ordered here in a minute, hopefully I have enough in the account to watch for some Rio Primers on sale somewhere too, I want to order up about 10-K of them and put down some shot shell reloading this winter.
probably need another 16 lbs of Promo [or use up some red-dot] and about 15 more bags of shot to have all that I need to fill all the Rio hulls I got.
that should see me through next years Trap shooting.

Waco's spot on. My point/observation is they seem real close in color and I really like the cover with the silver PC.
BTW, anyone else use RL7 in 308?

Gary, have standing seam on our house, and one section is right out our bedroom window. Will put you to sleep on a rainy evening,SO fast, haha.

B$S 730 test stand/.0005" indicator. I made the V blocks out of some bronze, they were part of a commercial door lock system. The sheet metal is "broke" at a 90* after being sheared for length. These get used to locate the V blocks.

6mm 4759 loads have <.001 run out as setup in pic.The further out the bullet AND indicator point is,the more run out shows up. In use, after a while.... you can see neck wall thickness issues.... just say In from a wonderous, ain't it cool how your eyes work standpoint?20180823_190542_resized.jpg
